IAR 2024 Capitol Conference
The Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® and the Iowa Association of REALTORS® invites our membership to
join us for IAR’S 2024 Hill Day and Governance Meetings!
IAR’s Capitol Conference is one of the most important events of the year, and we would love to have you join us. Enjoy a luncheon, a chance to speak with Iowa legislators, and discuss possible bills that impact clients, private property rights, and the real estate industry!
IAR Capitol Conference Schedule
Hill Day – January 31
- Need a ride?? Register for a bus ride to and from Iowa City, IA, free of charge! Meet at ICAAR at 9 a.m. and network while you travel! (The bus will leave Des Moines at 7 p.m. to return to Iowa City. If you would like to take advantage of this perk, be sure to select this option when registering!
- 12:00 – 2:00 PM: Free luncheon at Curate with a featured speaker
- 2:30 PM: Group photo on Rotunda stairs
- 3:00 – 4:00 PM: A trip to the Capitol to speak with legislators. IAR will provide talking points to help spark up the conversations!
- 4:00 – 7:30 PM: Evening reception to network with REALTORS® across Iowa and speak to legislators in a relaxed environment. Food and drinks are complimentary!
- 7:00 PM: If you need a ride back to Iowa City, the bus will leave Des Moines at 7 PM!
