Who we are

Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® (ICAAR) is the professional association serving and representing appraisers, property managers, real estate counselors, and brokers who are certified REALTORS® within the Iowa City area and its surrounding communities. First founded in 1941, today ICAAR is home to over 460 members, all dedicated to serving the needs of both home buyers and sellers. Our service area includes Coralville, Fairfield, Iowa City, Kalona, Lone Tree, Mt. Vernon, North Liberty, Oxford, Riverside, Solon, Tiffin, Tipton, Washington, West Branch, Williamsburg, and all communities in between. We are one of nearly 1,800 professional real estate associations across the country, which make up the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the largest trade association in the world.

In addition to hosting our Multiple Listing Service, Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® serves its members by providing up to date technology and resources, education and professional development opportunities, committee involvement, community outreach, political advocacy, and more.

Rent our Meeting Room

Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® offers an affordable and convenient room rental when our classroom is not in use. Looking for the perfect space for your business meetings, trainings, or seminars? Look no further. Located just off I-80 in the Iowa River Landing, our office classroom comfortably seats up to 60 in a classroom-style seating layout.

Our 1600 sq. ft classroom comes equipped with a built-in overhead projector and screen, sound system, and wireless internet. Our room rental program includes kitchen access and free parking.

The Iowa River Landing is home to several hotels, restaurants, and shops, all within walking distance.
