On December 8th, ICAAR’s MLS will be updating the MLS listing status options available. These updates align our MLS system with RESO industry standards and ensure listings appear as accurately as possible when syndicated to national search platforms and other third-party websites.

New Status
Introducing “Active Under Contract.”
This status should be used when there is an active offer on the property, but the client would like to continue showings for backup offers. If an offer has been accepted and the client no longer wishes to show the property, the listing can move to “Pending” status. 

Statuses Being Removed
The following status types will be retired.

• Contingent
• Back on Market
• Reduced Price
• Increased Price
• Extended

Statuses Remaining

• New
• Active
• Active Under Contract
• Pending
  • Pending is to be used when an offer has been accepted and the client no longer wants to show the property, even if there are still contingencies to work through.
• Sold
• Expired
• Withdrawn
• Cancel
• Leased
• Rented
