REALTOR Ring Day was held on Friday, December 5th this year, and it continues to be a tradition ICAAR members look forward to—year after year. REALTOR Ring Day isn’t just a meaningful way to support the Salvation Army and local families in need; it also strengthens the connection between our REALTORS and the communities they serve. There’s something truly special about standing outside in the cold, ringing bells with a smile, and knowing that every donation—big or small—helps a family relying on the Salvation Army during the holiday season.
This year, more than 50 volunteers stepped up to ring bells throughout the day at six different locations across North Liberty, Coralville, and Iowa City.
And the impact is significant. In past years, ICAAR members have helped raise up to $30,000 on Ring Day alone. These funds directly support local programs such as emergency shelter, food assistance, clothing resources, and holiday gifts for children.
As REALTORS, our members are woven into the fabric of the community. Whether they are helping individuals find a place to call home, supporting local initiatives, or stepping up when neighbors need it most, REALTORS understand the true meaning of service. As we move into the holiday season, ICAAR is proud that our members not only guide people home but also give back in ways that inspire and uplift our entire community.
