The Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® – an organization comprised over over 500 real estate professionals throughout the greater Iowa City area – announced today that it has named Megan Flewellyn the incoming Association Executive.
Megan has worked at the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® since 2017, serving as the organization’s Communications Director, and most recently serving as the Interim Association Executive since January 2022. ICAAR’s previous AE, Tyler Warner, announced his departure in November 2021.
“Megan has been a great asset to our association over the last several years with us,” said 2022 ICAAR President Tom Webber. “She has stepped up to many tasks and performed exceptionally as our Communications Director. She comes with great recommendations from outsiders of our association who have experienced her work ethic professionally. She has received her Realtor Certified Executive designation from NAR, which only 500 AE’s out of the 1,500 associations in the country currently have. This was a 1.5 year process to obtain and a great advancement in her leadership abilities.”
In addition to holding her Realtor Certified Executive designation from the National Association of REALTORS®, she also holds her At Home with Diversity, e-PRO, and C2EX endorsements. She has served on the National Association of Realtors’ Association Executive Magazine Editorial Board, and in 2020 assisted in ICAAR receiving the National Association of Realtors’ Young Professionals Network of the Year Award.
Megan will formally assume the new position April 1, 2022.
