In 2025, the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® made a bigger impact in our community by supporting more neighborhoods and organizations. Our members gave their time, energy, and resources to help strengthen the greater Iowa City area.
A key part of this year’s service included four volunteer days with the Iowa City Free Lunch Program, where members prepared and served meals and donated all of the ingredients needed for each lunch. These quarterly service days have become one of ICAAR’s most meaningful hands-on efforts and offer direct support to residents who rely on daily meals.
ICAAR proudly supported a broad range of community programs and events in 2025. This year’s sponsorships included:
• Iowa City Hospice Walk for Dignity
• Team Breast Friends Golf Outing
• Iowa City Pride Fest
• Clear Creek Amana School Foundation Golf Outing
• Summer of the Arts Friday Night Concert Series
• United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties Adopt-a-Family, where ICAAR members adopted seven families, contributing to more than 200 families served communitywide
• United Way’s Ready, Set, School! Supply Drive
• The Bird House Hospice Home of Johnson County’s Holiday Lights at the Lake
• Washington Ridiculous Days
• Little Pink Pantry
• Coralville Community Pantry Summer Program
• Houses Into Homes’ Bring It Home Donation Drive
• Salvation Army of Johnson County
• United Action for Youth’s Transitional Living Program, recipient of the YPN Bags Tournament
• Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® Community Service Scholarship Program
In addition to event sponsorships, ICAAR also supported national REALTOR® charitable initiatives, including a donation to the REALTORS® Relief Foundation.
Through the collective efforts of our members and partners, ICAAR provided $27,950 in direct community support as of our 2025 Inaugural. This total reflects an incredible demonstration of what we can accomplish together.
We are grateful to all members and volunteers who contributed this year. Your efforts make a real difference in our communities, and we look forward to continuing this work in the year ahead!
