ICAAR Receives NAR Placemaking Level 2 Grant

The Iowa City Area Association of Realtors® used a $10,000 Placemaking grant from the National Association of Realtors® to help transform undeveloped space in the North Liberty Next Stage capital campaign into a vibrant, public destination for community use and enjoyment. These funds specifically will be put towards bike parking planned for the Centennial Park completion.

This grant was designed by NAR to ensure local Realtor® Associations are partnering with other neighboring organizations to plan, organize and implement projects in their communities.

ICAAR takes immense pride in the work we do to make the Iowa City Area’s neighborhoods better places to live, work and raise a family. This grant gives a tangible, immediate opportunity to identify and address areas in the community that need enhancement and revitalization.
