ICAAR is pleased to announce the 2022 ICAAR Scholarship Foundation Recipients
The ICAAR Scholarship Foundation, of the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS® (ICAAR), is presenting scholarship awards to four graduating seniors from within the greater Iowa City Area this month. Each recipient received up to $2000 in scholarship to be put towards future education expenses.
For several years, the Scholarship Foundation has recognized students who have exemplified a deep commitment and understanding of community service, involvement, and philanthropy. The selection committee is comprised of Past Presidents of the Association.
“ICAAR is proud to honor high school seniors in our area that have demonstrated their drive for community involvement. The REALTORS® at ICAAR are passionate in giving back to our local organizations and promoting a culture of volunteering. The scholarship committee enjoys seeing these young adults embody this same mentality and carefully deliberates over the applicants to select four scholarships to seniors this year!” said Tom Webber, 2022 President of the Iowa City Area Association of REALTORS®.
This year’s recipients:
- Jack Abel, Liberty High School, $2000 (Cheryl Carroll-Nelson Scholarship)
- Madison Craig, Solon High School, $2000 (ICAAR High School Scholarship)
- Samuel Atichison, Regina High School, $1500 (ICAAR High School Scholarship)
- William Cavanagh, Mid-Prairie High School, $1000 (ICAAR High School Scholarship)
All students will be recognized by their respective schools, and the Scholarship Foundation.
The scholarship awards are made possible by contributions from REALTOR® and Affiliate members of ICAAR. In the last five years, the Scholarship Foundation has provided over $35,000 in scholarships.
